2011 Hunger Walk volunteer opportunities

Set-up crew: Arrive early to set up for the event

Tear-down crew: Stay after the event and help clean-up

Route safety crew: Ensure safety along route and flag for assistance when needed

Food booths: Distribute food at one of our booths before or after the event

Greeters: Welcome people to the event, point them toward the registration area

Water stations: Encourage walkers, provide water and music

Registration: Register walkers, receive pledges, must be over 18 and demonstrate financial competency

Kids Zone: Staff one of our many booths or activities for kids

First aid booth: Staff the first aid booth and route. Must have a medical or first aid background

Face painting booth: Provide face painting before and after the walk

Parking: Help direct parking of guests as they arrive and when parking is full, direct them to the parking lot at the park entrance.

Where need is greatest: We will place you where jobs need to be filled, or where new jobs are added as we get closer to the event date.
